About Petrotec

Mohamed Hassan is a mechanical engineer and seasoned industry leader with over 28 years of hands-on experience across the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors. His career spans upstream, midstream, and downstream operations in Egypt, Qatar, and Oman — encompassing major EPC greenfield and brownfield projects with some of the sector's most demanding clients, including BP, Dolphin Energy, Total Energy, Technip, and the Egyptian Refining Company.

A graduate of Assiut University (B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering, 1996), Mohamed built his expertise from the ground up — progressing from QA/QC Engineer to senior management roles responsible for enterprise-wide Quality Management Systems, Asset Integrity programs, and multi-disciplinary inspection teams. His deep understanding of engineering quality, regulatory compliance, and industrial supply chains is the foundation on which PetroTec was built.

Mohamed founded PetroTec with a clear mission: to bridge the gap between rigorous engineering standards and the procurement of technical solutions and industrial supplies — ensuring clients receive not just products, but verified, fit-for-purpose engineering value.
